Artist Statement

My name is Brenna Preisinger, I'm 17 and a junior. I love to travel, hang out with friends, take pictures and watch sports. I've been taking photography since I was a freshman, and this is my fifth time taking it. I almost didn't take this class but I'm so glad I did. I now have my grampy's old Minolta camera and bring it on trips with me. I prefer color film because it highlights more areas but I still like b&w a lot. The color photos in the background of this page and my front page I took in August 2023 in New York City. I plan to freelance photograph in my free time when I'm older and live in Boulder, Colorado. I also plan to study abroad in Cape Town, South Africa in college. My favorite types of photos to take are definitely ones of nature/landscapes, my dog and catch how pretty Earth is.
